Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Donoro (mobile application and website), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, do not use the platform.
Eligibility & User Roles
General Users
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Responsible for accuracy of blood request information.
Donors
- Must meet standard blood donation health criteria (minimum age 18, weight 50 kg+, no major health conditions).
- Must not have donated blood within the past 90 days.
- Must provide accurate NID and health information.
Riders
- Must hold a valid driving licence and vehicle registration.
- Must maintain vehicle safety standards at all times.
Blood Request Guidelines
- Requests must be genuine medical emergencies or scheduled procedures.
- Providing false information in a blood request is strictly prohibited.
- Users may not use the platform for commercial blood trading.
- Donoro does not guarantee donor availability or response times.
Donor Responsibilities
- Donors accept invitations voluntarily. Acceptance creates a moral commitment to attend.
- Repeated rejection of accepted invitations will affect your donor rating.
- Donors must inform the requester immediately if unable to attend after accepting.
- Donoro tracks rejection counts and may restrict accounts with excessive rejected commitments.
Wallet & Payments
- The Donoro wallet supports deposit and trip payment only.
- Escrow holds are placed during active trips and released upon completion.
- Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days for failed or cancelled trips.
Reviews & Ratings
- Reviews must be honest reflections of the donation experience.
- Fake or retaliatory reviews violate these Terms and may result in account suspension.
- Donoro reserves the right to remove reviews that violate community guidelines.
Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Donoro platform:
- Commercial blood trading or monetisation of donations
- Harassment of donors, riders, or platform staff
- Submitting false or fabricated blood requests
- Sharing account credentials with any third party
- Scraping, crawling, or extracting platform data without authorisation
- Impersonating other users or Donoro staff
Violating these rules may result in immediate and permanent account termination.
Privacy & Data
Your personal data is collected and processed as described in our Privacy Policy. By using Donoro, you consent to this processing.
Account Termination
Donoro may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. Users who believe their account was terminated in error may contact support within 14 days to request a review.
Limitation of Liability
Donoro is a technology platform facilitating connections between blood donors, requesters, and riders. We are not a medical provider, blood bank, or healthcare organisation. Use of the platform is at your own risk. Donoro is not liable for any direct or indirect harm arising from a donation, ride, or interaction facilitated through the platform.
In jurisdictions where limitation of liability is not permitted by law, Donoro's liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
